Paradise Poker Rakeback - 30% Rake Back
Paradise Poker Summary
Paradise Poker is one of the real grandfathers of online poker, opening for business way back in 1999. Back then, it was a real market leader - the software was ahead of everyone else and the action was among the best you could find on the Web.
Over the years, the rest of the industry kind of caught up to Paradise though, and, along with the passing of the UIGEA in 2006, cutting the site off from the U.S. market, some repositioning was going to be needed to get back to being a real mover and shaker. Enter Sportingbet (actually taking over as owner in 2004) and a move to the Boss Media platform and the International Poker Network - one of the busiest in the world.
Now, Paradise is again a hot bed of action and is actually the biggest room on the network.

Full Review
Many of the old players in the online poker world started their careers at Paradise Poker. In the early days of online poker when there were only a couple of poker rooms available, Paradise Poker was the obvious choice. Their poker software was, and still is, one of the best in the industry. Unfortunately, there are quite a few players in Paradise Poker that have been playing poker for many years and this makes the competition a bit tougher than in the average poker room. However, Paradise Poker is gaining in popularity again, and when new less experienced players are coming in there will be more dead money at the tables.
