CelebPoker Info

Rakeback: 30%

  • Rake Payout: , Monthly on the 1st the following month
  • Rake Stats Updates on RRR: N/A - available when you sign in to your member-accoubt.
  • Rake Calculation: CelebPoker uses the contributed rakeback method, which means that you will get rakeback on the money you actually raked. Action players that are involved in many pots benefit from this system, whereas tight players benefit from “dealt rake” where the rake is chopped between all active players in a hand. The calculation of how much each player contributed is done exactly, divided up by player. That means that from the rake amount in each pot the system calculates exactly how much of that amount that came from each player, based on their bets in that pot.

Full Review

CelebPoker is a member of the Boss Media Network. The games are pretty easy to beat and there are quite a few "calling stations" even at the higher limits. The game selection is really good. CelebPoker offers Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 5 Card Draw and Seven Card Stud. The player traffic is decent but far from huge. You will find about 3, 000 tournament players and 1, 200 players in the cash game section and at peak hours. The peak times are during the European night time (between 2pm and 7pm ET in the U.S.)

There are plenty of micro limit games up to $1/$2. At $2/$4 and above the game selection shrinks some but these are still great games. In my opinion Boss Media Network offers more loose passive games then any other network on the internet, especially at the $1/$2 level. CelebPoker offers 5 max tables which are very popular and loose.

The software has been updated gradually and has gone from being quite poor to good (the last update was in June 2006). The lobby shows the standard info; average pot, dealt hands per hour and view flop percentage. The graphics are decent and the action at the table is easily overviewed. You are nowadays able to play up to five tables at the same time
