BetonBet is a skin on the Prima Poker/Microgaming network. They offer a casino and sportsbook and money is easily transferred between these different sections. Games offered are Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha 8 or better Seven Card Stud and Five Card Stud. The Prima/Microgaming network is one of the largest networks in the online poker industry with about 3, 000 cash game players and 7, 000 tournament players at peak hours.
Limits range from $.05/$.10 to $150/$300 in Fixed Limit Hold'em and $200/$400 in No Limit Hold'em. The most action is found in the No Limit section where you won't have a problem finding a seat whatever limit you want to play. It's a lot harder to find a game for limit-players. Up to $2/$4 there are always games going on but above that you can't be sure that you will be able to find a game, especially at full tables. Short handed 6 max tables are much more popular here and these games are very beatable. There are usually a few Omaha games going, mostly Pot Limit, and this is one of the few rooms that offers Pot Limit and No Limit Stud.
Prima/Microgaming has a bad reputation among poker players due to a history of bugs and server crashes. Most of these problems are now solved, and the poker client is secure and doesn't suffer from major break-downs anymore.
Rake Info
BetOnBet has a "no flop no drop policy. When a hand doesn't reach the flop, no rake is deducted.
The rake is about industry average. In Limit games the max rake ranges from $0.07 to $3 depending on the table stake. In micro-limit games the cap is set to $0.07. The rake in $0.5/$1 games is capped at $0.3 and the rake in $1/$2 is capped at $1.5. All limits above that have a $3 cap, but if the game is played shorthanded the max rake is lower; $1 (2-3 players) and $2 (4-5 players).
Pot and No Limit tables up to $0.05/$0.10 are raked with max $0.07. PL/NL games, with blinds $0.05/$0.10 up to, but not including $0.25/$0.50 are raked with max $0.30. All tables above $0.25/$0.50 have a $3 cap. When the game is shorthanded the cap is lowered just as in the limit games.
